HERNAN ZAJAR devised the costumes for Colombian TV series like Gallito Ramírez, Caballo Viejo, The Maelstrom and sugar. His work with the leading programmers of Colombia (RCN, RTI, and CARACOL), are already numerous. He also worked as costume assistant in the film Chronicle of a Death Foretold, by Francesco Rossi, and theatrical productions as a Friend of Alma and Between us.

His designs are preferred by leading figures and Colombian prominent political and many accompany their creations beauty queens, including Kuorotchkina Julia (Miss World 1992) and Alicia Machado (Miss Universe 1995) and Mpule Kwelagobe (Miss. Universe 1999). The famous model Claudia Schiffer, the Playmate Samantha Torres, the actress Joan Collins, the Chilean model Carolina Parsons and Ivana Trump have also worn designer models.

Outside of his fashion studies in the country, Hernan has made specialization courses in Rome, New York and recently in London and Milan where he has participated in workshops on fashion illustration and update. He was also manager of union activities among designers to participate in Asdemodas Foundation, served on its board and take over the organization Trends, one of the most successful semi-annual fashion shows in Colombia in the 80′s.

He has also served as liaison for other fashion designers are linked with important humanitarian efforts, as the Hall of Design, conducted on behalf of AIDS patients. He has received several awards, including the magazine’s Vanities, which Zajar obtained in 1994 and 1995, 1996 and 1997, where he was awarded first place at the fancy dress in the National Beauty Contest in Cartagena. Hernan serves above all to the sensuality of women and, to highlight it, their models (in which predominate undercuts and asymmetric structures) imply arrogance almost feminine sensuality, whether gala striking creations and costumes tailors holiday or classic sophisticated materials. Within its varied line can find a multitude of color options for every occasion, from the red metal to the most subtle gradations of tropical hues.
